Cookie policy

Last updated: 20 September 2026 · Applies to: saasreview.net

The short version: we use one piece of browser storage to remember your cookie choice, plus whatever our hosting and security providers need to serve the site safely. Affiliate cookies are set by the partner (for example Amazon) on their own site, not by us.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. We also use localStorage, which works the same way but never transmits data to a server.

2. What we use

Name / keyTypePurposeDuration
saasreview-ck (localStorage)EssentialRemembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so the banner does not reappear on every pageUntil you clear it
__cf_bm, cf_clearance (Cloudflare)EssentialBot protection and security filtering on the network that serves this siteUp to 30 minutes / session
Affiliate partner cookies (e.g. Amazon)Third partySet on the partner's own domain when you click an affiliate link, so a qualifying purchase is attributed to us. We do not control them and they never affect your price.Set by the partner

3. Your choice

The banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept all cookies or continue with essential cookies only. You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data in your browser — the banner will then ask again and you can accept or decline afresh.

Analytics cookies (optional)

Only set when you click "Accept all". We use aggregate page-view statistics — no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles, no data sold. Declining leaves every page and tool fully working.

4. How to delete or block cookies

Blocking everything will not stop our tools working — they run entirely in your browser.

5. Legal background

We follow the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, which require consent before non-essential cookies are set and clear information about what is stored.
